Ingredients and Equipment:

  • Fresh and high-quality espresso beans (whole)
  • Espresso machine (with a portafilter)
  • Coffee grinder (for whole beans)
  • Clean, cold water
  • Tamper
  • Espresso cups

Instructions:

  1. Choose the Right Espresso Beans:
    Start with fresh, high-quality espresso beans. The type of beans and their roast level can greatly affect the flavor of your espresso. Choose beans that match your taste preferences.
  2. Grind the Coffee Beans:
    Grind the coffee beans just before brewing. Espresso requires a fine grind, similar to table salt. Adjust the grind size on your grinder to achieve this consistency.
  3. Preheat the Espresso Machine:
    Turn on your espresso machine and allow it to preheat. A properly heated machine ensures that the water reaches the ideal brewing temperature.
  4. Prepare the Portafilter:
